I got a Diamond Razor edge for my birthday and i want to go deer hunting with it.?
Can anyone tell me what draw weight would be effective enough to kill a deer without problems?
it goes up to 60 lbs. i want to know how low would be to low to kill one.
by the way its high is 308 fps.
Depending on your states laws you could go down to 35 pounds or have to be up to 50 pounds. You can kill a deer no problem with a 35 or 40 pound bow. Obviously the high you can shoot comfortably the better. Remember comfortably. If you are having trouble drawing your bow then it is way too high. It might cause you to tire quickly and be less accurate. So if the state allows it and all you can draw is 40 pounds then it will work. If you get up to the 50 pound range you will have no problems what so ever.
